Todd Bonner
Graduate of the Del Oro High School Class of 1981. Played for John Fletcher and Bob Christensen their inaugural year coaching the football program. Was also extremely fortunate to play for Larry Wyatt and Steve March as well.
Also had the opportunity to play Basketball for Coach Bill Barker
During Track and Field Was fortunate enough to work with Steve March and Chuck Gardner as my coaches. Did multiple events in track and field for Del Oro including discus, shot put, 100 yard and 440 relay. Even ran the 2 mile at Lindhurst High school for our final meet of the season. I pursued another four years in Amateur Athletic Association throwing discus and shot put.
Del Oro Sports taught me so much about how to be a positive influence working with others that eventually I came back to teach and have been doing so for over 15 years, working with students, teachers and administrators in the district and Del Oro. I consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to teach students in this district and I am especially proud of the opportunity that has been given to me to coach such outstanding young people. My hope is to inspire them to consider careers in coaching and teaching someday.

Have spent the last four years working with assistant coaches and students developing not only athletic skills but also focusing on academic and social skills necessary for overall success for athlete scholars. Began career as defensive line coach now also associated with academic compliance coaching, working with all levels from Varsity to Freshmen to ensure that all requirements to allow our athletes continued participation in football and track are met.

Working with athletes interested in learning the mechanics of throwing shot put and discus. Have worked with all levels of both boys and girls varsity in training and conditioning to allow student/athletes to achieve their maximum potential and performance on the field
