Jordan Whitmore
Coach Jordy grew up in Danville, CA where he attended and graduated from San Ramon Valley High School. He grew up with a love for playing many sports; Basketball, Hockey, but predominantly Baseball. In 2011 he was apart of a San Ramon Valley Varsity team that won the East Bay Athletic League title, securing the #1 seed in NCS and earning All-League honors himself.
After high school, Coach Jordy attended and played baseball for The College of San Mateo for 2 seasons before finishing his playing career at Chabot College in 2015. He went on to earn his Bachelors Degree in Business Management at California State University, East Bay
Immediately after Coach Jordy’s last season of playing college baseball, he returned to San Ramon Valley to begin his coaching career. He coached on all 3 levels during his 7 seasons there. In his first of 4 years as a Varsity assistant (2017) San Ramon Valley won the East Bay Athletic League title and secured a #1 NCS playoff seed just as he had in his first varsity season as a player (2011). He was the Freshman Head Coach for 2 more seasons before moving on to become a Varsity Assistant at Monte Vista High School for 2 seasons.
Coach Jordy loves coaching student athletes, preparing them to compete not only on the baseball field, but in everyday life. He firmly believes that the qualities that make up a strong student athlete will translate into success in every walk of life. He aims to lead his players by example, stressing the importance of being a great teammate, and bringing energy, passion, and joy to the field every day.
