El Dorado Hills- For the JV squad the SFL tournament marks the end of the season and the beginning of offseason training. The JV squad had three champions, three runner ups, and two 3rd place finishes. In the 162 bracket Miguel Cortez battled teammate Brock Sherman in the finals. Sherman was down by three points in the third round but turned Cortez to his back to score three nearfall points and tie the match. Cortez fought off his back and escaped with seconds left on the clock to win the match 7-6.
