Cowboy Capital of the World- Del Oro took 9 wrestlers to the James Riddle Tournament (Oakdale, CA) and placed eight. Taking first and winning the coveted championship belt buckle were Christian Perez (120 lbs) and Jagger French (144 lbs). Both wrestlers went 4-0 at the tournament with Perez capping off the day with a grinding win over Orion Hill (Folsom HS). Perez was down 3-0 in the second round and scrapped back to a 7-5 decision for first place. Siraj Sidhu (113) and Wyatt Alexander (157) made it to the finals but dropped close 3-1 and 8-7 decisions, respectively, to take second.
